February 16, 2022 What has the rugged capability to take on mud, dirt, sand, rocks and more and yet not forfeit style and sophistication: That would be the new 2022 Sierra 1500 AT4X. The only pickup in its class to have front and rear e-locking differentials, which will send power where you need it most in low traction scenarios like mud, gravel or sand. The lockers will also help give control when ascending or descending steep inclines.

Taking on the most punishing terrain means mitigating potential damage. That’s why the Sierra AT4X has underbody skid plates and a large steel transfer case skid plate to help protect underbody components. The available rock sliders will help shield the truck’s sills and frame rails.

Meanwhile, the new Multimatic™ DSSV shocks and dampers deliver premium performance, control and comfort even while going off road for extended periods. The Multimatic dampers feature three separate spool valves to control damping for an exceptional ride experience even during the longest of adventures in the harshest of environments. In addition, the Sierra AT4X’s off-road ride experience benefits from an increased suspension travel that helps dampen the effects of rough terrain.

Under the hood GMC equipped this pickup with a 6.2L V8 with 420 hp and 460 lb.-ft. of torque. The 2-speed transfer case, meanwhile, has selectable modes for multiple off-road scenarios. For example, Off-Road Mode helps give momentum in low tractions situations like gravel or mud. And Terrain Mode in 4-LO enables one-pedal driving for low-speed, off-road technical scenarios to help give greater control when taking on rugged environments.

With Sierra AT4X, GMC kept in mind how customers use trucks. This balanced execution delivers advanced off-road capability when called upon without compromising the on-road comfort, technology, towing and payload capability truck owners expect from a premium pickup. Which proves that the Sierra AT4X was not built for just driving through the woods or weekend adventures. As much fun as these things can be the rugged good looks fit for whatever the occasion demands.

For example, the audio experience has also been elevated to provide a more perfect way to hear the soundtrack for any outdoor adventure. The 12-speaker Bose Premium Series with CenterPoint includes AudioPilot Noise Compensation technology and Richbass subwoofer. And to enjoy audio outside of the cabin, the standard 6-function MultiPro Tailgate includes the MultiPro Audio System from KICKER®

“The Buick Encore is a high-riding little crossover with several charms, not the least of which is a cute exterior design.” -Motor Trend.com

The Buick Encore is one of the top-selling Buicks of all time. Which shows that drivers appreciate having a compact SUV that includes Buick’s quiet ride and sure-footed handling characteristics.
The 2022 Buick Encore gives you more of the good thing. That good thing being the standard 1.4-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission. A combination that gives you enough torque to keep things lively and plenty of the sophistication you would expect from a top-selling Buick

“The Encore maintains a comfortable driving experience, even in harsh road conditions, and maneuvering this small crossover is a breeze.” US News.com.

For 2022 the Buick Encore retains the high-end look so hard to find in the compact SUV class. The Encore avoids the cross-over hatchback look by virtue of a roofline which allows for a more substantial-looking vehicle. The handsome new grille and hood work so well with the Encore’s creatively crafted lines. The smooth, sweeping curves accent the elegant appearance which says this vehicle is a Buick all the way.

The 2022 Buick Encore can check all the boxes when it comes to safety features and technology. Starting with the Encore’s NHTSA 5-Star Crash Test rating all the way through both standard and available safety technology like blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rain sensing automatic windshield wipers to name a few.

Come and experience what a compact SUV can be and see why the 2022 Buick Encore remains so popular.

A turbocharged powertrain with handsome styling and room for your passengers and the things they bring along. This is what you get with the 2021 GMC Terrain. All this and an upscale look that other compact SUVs can only envy.

Safety features? You bet. The 2021 GMC Terrain benefits from new safety technology packages. The road is unpredictable. GMC Pro Safety includes Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, Following Distance Indicator and IntelliBeam.

“Crashworthiness has been a strong suit of the Terrain. The NHTSA has awarded it a five-star overall rating…” – autoblog.com

GMC has always been the first choice for America when it comes to selecting well-built SUVs. GMC has built military vehicles, pickup trucks, and heavy-duty trucks for a long time and consequently has benefitted from all the experience. The 2021 GMC Terrain is no exception either. The Terrain comes with a solid chassis design borrowed from GM’s theta chassis platform. That’s about as wonky as we want to get but it just goes to show that the Terrain has a serious pedigree.

“…considering all the safety features that are standard in the GMC Terrain lineup, it makes out to be one of the safest SUVs in the compact-SUV segment.” – carindigo.com

The new Terrain is loaded with standard features. For example, each 2021 Terrain has Flat-Fold Seating that allows you to configure the cabin according to your latest adventure. Also, GMC StabiliTrak is a safety feature that can apply the brakes to not only stop wheel slip but can alter the trajectory of the vehicle. In addition, Hill Descent Control is standard equipment this year to help keep you free of anxiety when the road conditions get hairy.

Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are both included and Built-In Navigation is available along with First-Class Connectivity. See for yourself how a Professional Grade SUV like the 2021 GMC Terrain can add to your driving enjoyment and deliver utility and safety too.

07:29 PM At its heart, the 2021 GMC Yukon Denali is a step above in every way with regards to what you expect from a premium SUV. You won’t forget the first-class experience, sophistication, advanced technologies and powerful capability of the all-new 2021Yukon Denali. The achievement in applied automotive design and technology is unparalleled.

No matter where you go in the new 2021 Yukon Denali the commanding road presence is unmistakable. The taller stance and higher hood line of 2021 Yukon’s front underscores the large, strong look of a powerful SUV. This proud appearance is amplified by a redesigned sculpted hood and new grille situated between updated signature C-shaped LED lighting elements.

The focus for all aspects of the all new 2021 Buick Envision is quality; its sculpted body has lower, wider dimensions that exude athleticism and the interior’s driver-centric design marries ease of operation with luxurious surroundings. The all-new Buick Envision strikes an unmistakable appearance, with an attractive, athletic exterior design, and a lower, wider stance than before and is a harmonious pairing of athleticism and sophistication.

Simplifying things is always a good especially if the process includes an upgrade. For the 2021 Buick Envision Model Year the trim levels have been simplified. Buick eliminated 3 of the 5 trims. Gone are the Envision 1SV, Premium I, and Premium II trims.  Envision Preferred and Envision Essence trims now lead-off the Envision offering.

The Acadia Denali is a midsize SUV. The whole idea being that you get to tailor the vehicle capacity to suit your needs at the time. You decide whether you need max people room of max cargo room or some blend of the two. This is part of what makes the Acadia Denali such a popular vehicle. The other reasons are ride, performance and safety.

The front facia of the new GMC Acadia Denali resembles that of the GMC Sierra. The handsome new look tells you a lot about this versatile family hauler. When properly equipped, the Acadia Denali can tow up to 4,000-lbs. And has up to 79 cubic feet of cargo space. The Acadia Denali also has 3-rows of seats and room for up to 7-people. You can hardly top that unless you enter the realm of commercial vehicles.

There are available Roof Rack Cross Rails you can add to your Acadia Denali when you need to carry more people and more cargo. A Retractable Cargo Shade and Vertical Cargo Net can be added to help keep things private and organized. Once again showing the versatility of the GMC Acadia.

The new Acadia Denali has over 7″ of ground clearance for those times when going off-road is required. And, AWD is available so the Acadia Denali can handle off road adventures and camping trips without blinking.

A V-6 with a new 9-speed automatic transmission power the new Acadia Denali and the vehicle is at the top of the charts where trim level is concerned. So, even standard equipment is way ahead of similar midsize SUVs. Certainly, all the tech your family needs these days to stay connected to their digital lives.

Come in to Century Buick GMC in TAMPA  to test drive the GMC Acadia and see how it fits into your busy life.

Have you ever looked at something and marveled at its design and thought, that’s a good idea? We all have, and it seems to be happening more every day. Smart design does not just happen and neither did the 2021 Buick Encore GX. This five-person SUV has been innovated, crafted and engineered to fit the way your life moves. The stylish lines, nimble handling, intelligent technology and the peace and quiet of a Buick all work together to make life easier.
The 2021 Buick Encore GX is lower, wider and longer than other version of this popular SUV. Which means more shoulder room, more hip room and a wonderful center armrest which tops a cavernous storage space. Don’t you just love practical engineering?!
Let me tell you a secret. Some 2021 Buick Encore GX models can carry six persons. Yes, they can. Providing that one of those “persons” is named Alexa. Okay, technically, Alexa is a Built-In functionality on select Encore GX models, and part of the Buick Infotainment System. Which is exactly where she belongs. Very considerate of her by not taking up any space.
One thing Alexa will never do is cry, “Shot Gun,” when the car starts. Alexa will not keep asking you, “Are we there yet?”, and not because she doesn’t care, but because like you and your passengers, she is just enjoying the ride. What Alexa can do is obey your voice commands to connect to your favorite music service or podcast, or get directions, make calls, check your calendar, tell you a joke, add items to your Whole Foods shopping cart and a lot more.
Isn’t it amazing what you can do while driving a Buick Encore GX? Busy lives can become so much easier and productive when you drive a vehicle loaded with good ideas. In fact, visiting our showroom would be a very good idea should you want to see the Encore GX for yourself.

Seattle Shoot

The Hummer is coming back and will be in showrooms next year, but you can order yours starting this Fall. The new Hummer will not be a running on fossil fuels but rather electricity. Yes, the new Hummer will be an all-electric vehicle. The Hummer EV will be as 2022 model, have 1,000-hp and 11,500 lb-ft of torque, do 0-60 in about 3 seconds. It will be a Hummer sport truck. We are talking about a Hummer EV Sport Utility Truck.

GM is going big on electrification and the GMC Hummer EV is about as big as it gets. With an equal commitment to quality and performance the 2022 Hummer EV is something special. What makes this all possible is a driveline and power system called Ultium. The All-New 2022 Hummer has an Ultium Propulsion System and joins the GMC Professional Grade lineup. This speaks to how the Hummer EV will share construction principles with other GMC vehicles and not be a stand-alone odd ball. Again, proof that GM is in this for the long haul.
The Ultium Propulsion System is the product of the GM Propulsion Systems Research Lab. The 2022 Hummer EV started with a clean sheet of paper as far as the drive unit and the battery. The Ultium name covers the battery, the electric systems, and the motors. Designing the whole thing together makes the system more flexible.

It all comes down to coming up with a great battery cell and turning that cell into part of a great battery with a great propulsion system. The battery chemistry is Nickel Cobalt Manganese Aluminum. The net result is 70 percent less cobalt. GM’s ability to stack more, or less cell modules into the battery pack is at least one factor in making propulsion, at this level, possible. Stacking modules horizontally or vertically, depending on the type of vehicle, also contribute to efficient design. That is an oversimplification, but we are trying to keep the “wonk factor” under control.

The floor of the vehicle houses the battery pack which is an integral part of the Hummer’s structure. A structure designed by the Hummer structural team not the electronics team. Which is the best way to assure the battery cells are protected in a crash and it makes the vehicle stiffer.

The net result is a 2022 Hummer EV that you can drive for 300 miles before charging and perhaps as much 400 miles between charges. It is a new day as far a driving is concerned. You can be a part of the historic first run this fall.
